I one day asked my friend, Tommy Gonzalez, if he had anything he had written he’d want me to turn into a comic book. If my memory serves me, his response was something to the effect of “Yeah, but it’s kinda silly.” And months later, Ak Gore was born. I’ve known Tommy since fifth grade, so making a silly comic NOT about Al Gore together just felt natural.
